Lollapalooza Too Crowded? Try Purple Rain

In Purple Rain (1984, 111 min., Director: Albert Magnoli), Prince is a troubled Minneapolis musician with a difficult home life. He meets a singer named Apollonia, and they become involved in a lurid romance. Can Prince trying not to repeat the pattern of his abusive father, and keep his band, The Revolution, and his relationship with Apollonia, together?
