Third Coast International Audio Festival

Chicago Talks, September 20, 2010

Third Coast Listening Room Presents:

Book Odds + our first-ever doodling experiment

Come out for the public premiere our favorite submissions from this year’s ShortDocs Challenge – Book Odds, a collaboration between us, The Books and radio lovers around the world. But wait, there’s more: Special “guest doodlers” will be on hand to demonstrate how radio inspires art … and you’ll get the chance to doodle, too! (Paper and doodling implements provided.)

WHEN: Friday, Oct. 1 / 7 – 8:30 p.m.

WHO: Co-hosted by TCF’s Julie Shapiro and WBEZ’s Alison Cuddy, with local Book Odds producers in the house, and guest doodlers / Chicago artists Corinne Mucha and Rob Funderburk

WHERE: Chicago Urban Art Society / 2229 S. Halsted St., Chicago

TICKETS: Free, but bring a ten-spot to buy a Third Coast pidgey t-shirt and show your support for the work we do.
