CUB was founded by the state in 1983 to help protect consumers from high utility costs. CUB is proud to continue this mission with CUB Energy Saver.

The Energy Saver is a free program that rewards you for lowering your electric bill. You need your ComEd account number to join the program. CUB offers free online tools and energy saving ideas. Every month when you have verified savings on your electric bill you earn two points for every kilowatt hour saved. The points can be redeemed for discounts at popular restaurants and retailers such as Foot Locker and Omaha Steaks.
