By the day after the election, the results are usually known, but in the 49th Ward, Joe Moore led Don Gordon by a 122 votes as of 9:00 am, with one precinct still out. Each vote counts to to Joe and Don. The Chicago Board of Elections lists all pertinent election numbers on its website. You can see how many people voted, and the number and percent of the vote for each candidate. The site also lists how many precincts have reported.
