Breakfast With Your Legislators

Saint Xavier University will host the Sixth Annual “Breakfast With Your Legislators” event where SXU students, faculty and the surrounding community can meet Chicagoland elected officials.

 Where: The Butler Reception Room, located in the Warde Academic Center at Saint Xavier University’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.

 When: This networking event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 15. Registration and networking begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast and the program at 8 a.m.

 Why: Elected officials seek to meet with the community as well as SXU faculty and staff. They will provide a brief overview of their respective districts and the various issues they face, followed by a Q & A from the audience.

 Who: Chicagoland elected officials, including the following:  State Sen. Edward Maloney (D-18th), State Rep. Kelly Burke (D-36th), State Rep. Bill Cunningham (D-35th), Cook County Commissioner John Daley (D-11th), Cook County Commissioner Joan Murphy (D-6th), Cook County Commissioner Liz Gorman (R-17th) and Chicago Ald. Matt O’Shea (19th).
