Want to eat some good traditional Mexican food and experience some South-of-the-Border culture?
Chicago’s Hispanic community will be celebrating Mexico’s independence from Spain at the 22nd annual Festival de La Vilita, Little Village Festival.
Attracting thousands–and wildly popular with families and children–the three-day event is the Midwest’s premier outdoor gala of Mexican culture. Admission is free.
Among the more than 100 vendors will be neighborhood restaurants serving up authentic Mexican cuisine. There will also be music, artisans, entertainment for kids and carnival rides.
When? On Saturday, September 10th at 12:00 p.m.
Where? At 2600 S. Kostner in the Little Village neighborhood.
