Want to help bring peace throughout the world?
Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots will host its second annual International Day of Peace celebration this weekend in Chicago.
WHO: Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, the Jane Goodall Institute’s global environmental and humanitarian youth program (www.rootsandshoots.org), in collaboration with Chicago Public School students, families, community members and local businesses.
WHEN: Saturday, September 17, 2011 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Registration Starts at 10:15 a.m.)
WHAT: The focus of the celebration will be on peace building in an effort to convey that everyone has the ability and responsibility to help create and foster peace throughout the world.

The first 75 participants will receive a Peace Day gift.
Lunch will be donated by Soul Vegan and is available from 12 – 12:45 p.m.
