SQUARED! is a neighborhood art explosion. On October 13th from Noon to 10 p.m., the area around the California/Milwaukee Blueline stop will be bustling with an exciting lineup of arts activities!

Up and down the 2100 and 2400 blocks of Milwaukee Avenue there will be more than 130 artists throughout the 20 venues including art spaces and art-friendly businesses.

See the details and download the map of all of the events on the website.

Highlights include:
AnySquared’s Group Show and Public Artmaking Day; SulzenZamudio’s “Foursquared” family exhibit and Community Participation Mural (join in); Galerie F’s “Alphabet Soup” exhibit and Hotbox mobile art gallery; The Cinema Culture’s video program; Art@Cole’s community art exhibit; ABC’s History of Local Graffiti Art slide-show and mural events; “Morsels” exhibition of small works/small series at Township; sculpture at Red Gate’s studio, the art-walk-wide Phantom Gallery/Chicago Calling “Creative Currency” installation; dance at Mixed Motion Art; and five site-specific art installations by local artists at Threads Etc,.

Make a day of it: join our neighbors at the Fall Festival family event to support the Goethe School  — noon-4pm (on Rockwell, 2 blocks north of Milwaukee and the art walk).

End the evening at the Cafe Mustache Sock Hop Dance Party or check out the West Town Bikes party at Cole’s Bar and support this great project by having a drink at Cole’s Bar!
