Hundreds of taxi drivers took up protest in the Loop against the ride-share industry on Wednesday morning. The drivers are protesting what they say is unfair competition from services like Uber and Lyft, which are subject to fewer regulations than city taxis. Drivers honked their horns, blocked traffic and refused to pick up passengers.
