For the New Year (or the old one…) make yourself a “gravatar” or Globally Recognized Avatar that will show up automatically on sites that use gravatars (like WordPress sites) and then use your custom ChicagoTalks page.
- Register for ChicagoTalks and our Flickr Group if you take photos.
- Submit your stories and photos.
- Go to Gravatar the site where you can set up a profile page with a bio and an headshot
- Your name is listed in the ChicagoTalks sidebar Authors menu
- Click on your name, and you will see a customized page that shows your picture and bio (from Gravatar) and all the stories YOU have published on ChicagoTalks.
- Copy your custom URL on resumes and job search and internship applications.
