For the past 47 years, Macy’s has orchestrated a variety of decorations behind their windows that have attracted not only Chicagoans but people all over the world.
The display brings in the holiday spirit and keeps people like Jennifer Auantock coming back for more. Auantock, who is from Rockford, Illinois said she thinks the display is great and loves the creativity that goes into it.
Others like Grace Hussar, who has two children, said coming to see the decorations has become more of a tradition for her family than anything else. Hussar said she comes every year but only on a week day because the kids are crazy and it is always super crowded.
And Carlos Alvarez, who lives in Indiana, said he likes the decorations so much that he is bringing his children back to see them.
If you didn’t have time to see Macy’s 47th annual window display, don’t worry because it doesn’t end until Jan. 11.
