This coming Friday, January 25th, Critical Mass is doing a Polka Ride. Assemble at 5:30 p.m. start riding around 6:00 p.m. but remember that you can’t take a bike on the Brown Line from Albany Park between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. because of Rush Hour restrictions.
You can get on before 4 p.m. or you can ride the any line back home after the ride. You can also take you bike on a CTA bus anytime.
Bike Winter took advantage of Hancock Fabrics (6101 N. Broadway) location “going out of business” sale. They bought up nearly all of the fleece. Willow scooped up some polka dot ribbon to adorn the white fleece goodies with.
Come to Daley Plaza at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and get a free fleece goody and to adorn your ride on the annual CCM Polka Ride!
The ride ends at a bowling alley for a FREE punk rock polka concert by The Polkaholics. (Please note that the ride does NOT end at Lincoln Square Lanes this year. The concert is 21+ but it’s all ages to bowl.)
